What is Asset Recovery
In this business "Asset Recovery" can also be known as Tax Overages. When an owner of a home or business have not paid taxes for that property, then the property will soon be foreclosed and sold at the county's auction for a higher price than what was due in taxes. The difference between what the property was bought for and the taxes owed for that property is known as a tax overage. The funds from the tax overage rightfully belongs to the previous owner of that home or business.
